In Nepal people below the age of 16 are not given permission to climb Everest but people usually climb to set records. A Japanese mountaineer Yuichiro Miura  has set the global record of becoming the oldest man to scale mount Everest, at the age of Eighty.

Moreover, the Chinese officials have set an age restriction of 18 to 60 to climb Everest but Nepal  has no  any upper age restriction to climb Everest. The youth and adults have less death rate than the people of old age in the Mountains.

Kalapatthar (Black Rock) is the best viewpoint (5,545m) to witness the sunrise over Mt. Everest and other nearby mountains. This famous climbing hill offers a nearer view of Mount Everest and other 20 peaks. The travellers can have the best sunrise and sunset views including Pumori mountain in the backdrop. For many trekkers, this is the highest and also the final point of this trek. Kalapatthar in Nepali is an elevated hill of black rock.
