A magnificent peak, Ama Dablam, is located in Nepal's Himalayas, next to Mount Everest, and provides a spectacular close-up view of Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, and Mount Cho Oyu and the region. Dablam means "pearl necklace" and Ama means "mother" in the native language. The glacier on the mountain resembles a “Dablam,” the jewelry box worn by women in the Sherpa tribe. The technical rock, snow, and ice climbing of the Ama Dablam Expedition combine Everest base camp. On the way, every trekker and hiker is greeted by the breathtaking Everest View Trek, Lhotse, and Makalu. The South West Ridge of Ama Dablam is regarded by some of the best mountaineers in the world as a secure, avalanche-free route. Moreover, Ama Dablam has been nicknamed the "Matterhorn" (a mountain between Switzerland and Italy) of the Himalayas because of its towering ridges and sheer cliffs. A few decades back, the mountain was depicted on a one-rupee note released by the Nepal Rastra Bank.

A picturesque flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the entrance to Everest, marks the start of the trip. It then proceeds along the standard hiking path up to Ama Dablam base camp at an elevation of 4570m. The trek commences at Lukla (2810 meters), on a clearly designated trail, through the Dudh Koshi Valley before spending the night in Phakding (2640m). The next day, the trek starts from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3450m). The first few days of the journey take the trekkers through the renowned Sherpa homeland and up the breathtaking high valley of the Khumbu region. The majority of the climbing path is fixed and concentrated on a ridge's top; there are no icefalls or glaciers to cross along the way. From Namche Bazaar, the trekkers will trek to Pangboche (3985m). The trail offers excellent views of Ama Dablam and winds through a rhododendron forest before crossing the Imja Khola. The next day you will hike towards the Ama Dablam Base Camp (4600m), the final destination of the trek, and return to Pangboche. The 11 days trek is completed along with your arrival in Kathmandu.
