Everest Base Camp Trek (8848.86m)

The Sagarmatha, or Mount Everest in English, is the tallest mountain in the world, and the Everest Base Camp Trek leads hikers through Sherpa territory toward its base camp. Even while the Tibetan side has the greatest views of Mount Everest, this journey is about much more than just one mountain. Numerous peaks with elevations of 8,000 meters or higher can be found across the Khumbu region, the biggest trekking area in the Himalayas. One of the most popular hiking routes in Nepal is this one. In addition to the mountains, there are many more sights to view, such as the stunning Lukla airport, the highest Sherpa community on a terraced slope, one of the highest suspension bridges, monasteries, a national park, Himalayan flora and fauna, glacial lakes, the Khumbu Icefall, and many others. Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Nuptse are the other tallest mountains in the world after mount Everest (8848.86m).

Most often, the journey starts in Kathmandu and progresses to the airport in Lukla. The hikers' journey to be in the vicinity of their ideal landscape will be fantastic. To avoid altitude sickness at such a high altitude, the daily walk will last 5–6 hours. Everest is more than a mountain. Therefore, in addition to the Himalayas, hikers will explore a variety of other areas. Alpine forests are abundant there. There are numerous Himalayan species of protected birds and animals. During the hike in the spring, it is possible to see the Himalayan Monal (Danphe)Nepal’s national bird, and Rhododendron (Caligula), Nepal's national flower. The walk typically takes 12 to 15 days to complete.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek (4130m)

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is arguably one of the most renowned and traditional treks in the world. It offers breathtaking mountain views and the chance to see typical Nepali villages, locals, and their way of life in the Nepalese Himalayas. The journey to Annapurna Base Camp, which is located at a height of 4130m, passes through breathtaking and serene scenery, attractive ethnic settlements, rivers, gorges, alpine and Rhododendron forest, and snow line areas, meadows, and glacial lakes. On the journey, you will stop at several hill stations to catch the spectacular views of the mountains.

ABC trek is comparatively easier than the Everest Base Camp trek. It usually starts from Lake city Pokhara located 200 km west of Pokhara. The prime times to trek to Annapurna Base Camp are in the autumn, from mid-September to November, and in the spring, from March to May. Monsoon season, which lasts from June to August, is rainy but ideal for adventurous naturalists because it often has clear blue skies. Enormous mountains encircle this trail. As a result, the journey to Annapurna Base Camp is breathtaking. With stunning flowers and mountains all around, you stroll parallel to glacial water flowing off Annapurna. During the walk, hikers could see mountains like Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Dhaulagiri, MachhaPuchhre (Fish Tail), Manaslu Himchuli, and more.

Manaslu circuit trek (1340m-5106m)

The Manaslu circuit trek is regarded as one of the top treks in Nepal. The trail encircles the Manaslu Conservation Area and leads to a breathtaking vista of the eighth-highest mountain in the world. If you've already completed the Annapurna Circuit, this journey can be a terrific option. The path takes you from the humid lowlands with their terraced rice and millet fields into the enormous gorges of the Budi Gandaki, which are home to breathtaking waterfalls and streams with a turquoise tint. There is no comparison to the length and height of the suspension bridges on the Manaslu climb, and the yearly monsoon frequently washes out lesser bridges, forcing trekkers to use partially hidden cliffs. Typically, the trip lasts 15-20 days and travels from Soti Khola to Beshi Sahar.

The Manaslu Trek takes you to a region where Buddhist culture and the prehistoric Bon culture coexist. Monasteries, main walls, prayer flags, and prayer wheels are all things you'll see along the way. In the village of Lho, the largest Buddhist monastery, Ribum Gompa, is a must-see. The Bhotia communities have had the least amount of development. An excursion to a teahouse is Manaslu. You will spend some time at the tea house each night, which is a very basic structure with only two single beds. Toilets are often shared, but they could be outside in teahouses.

Jomsom-Muktinath Trek (2743m-3710m)

The well-known and much longer Annapurna Circuit includes the Trek from Jomsom to Muktinath. Culture and breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains are combined in the Jomsom Muktinath Trek. Its main pathways are lined with excellent lodges. For some remarkable views of the northern flanks, the trail crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan range. Throughout the route, there are stunning vistas of the Annapurna range, including Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri.

The journey to Muktinath typically starts in Jomsom. Jomsom, situated towards the north, is only a short flight away from Pokhara. You have the opportunity to thoroughly immerse yourself in brand-new experiences by taking part in the Jomsom Muktinath Trek in Mustang. This stroll also has a very rich cultural component. One of the holiest locations for both Buddhists and Hindus is Muktinath, the trek's last resting place. Hindus view bathing in Muktinath's 108 waterspouts as a way to achieve redemption in the hereafter because they view it as a manifestation of the Hindu god Lord Bishnu. It is where the learned master Rinpoche meditates, according to Buddhists (Padmasambhava).

Tilicho Lake Trek (4949m)

One of the top tourist destinations in the Annapurna area is the gorgeous lake. The Tilicho peak, at 7,134 meters, is the highest peak in the High Himalayas, which encircles Lake Tilicho.

Through the 16-day walk, you will discover new areas of interest. The Tilicho Lake Hike is the finest thing to do when trekking to the Annapurna Circuit Trek because of the beautiful scenery and tall mountains. Because stones frequently fall from the slopes, the hike to Tilicho Lake is particularly challenging.

Upper Dolpa Trek (4,530m-5,115m)

You can witness the magnificence of Nepal's wild and isolated far west by going on a trek in the Dolpo region. Tibet, which Dolpo borders, is similar to its northern neighbor in terms of both culture and a large portion of geography. Shey-Phoksundo National Park, which is Nepal's biggest, is located in the western portion of the district.

Western Nepal is not only isolated, but it is also underdeveloped and quite underdeveloped. Dolpo's tourism infrastructure is lacking compared to much of Nepal, thus camping and carrying your own food supplies are required. You cannot trek in Upper Dolpo on your own, and permits are expensive. But this area rewards adventurous hikers with deep valleys, steep hills, and mountains, the beautiful Lake Phoksundo, the century-old Shey Monastery, and some rare fauna, including the elusive snow leopard.

There is no need to be concerned about getting lost, or not being able to find a place to stay or eat because the journey can be completed within 9-10 days and cost around $ 860-1000. Several guesthouses, lodges, and restaurants are available along the way. Before attempting one of the more difficult trails like the Annapurna Circuit or the Annapurna Base Camp trip, the Ghorepani Poonhill trek is a fantastic trail to be accomplished. As the walk passes through rhododendron woodland, terraced hills, paddy fields, and lush foliage, hikers will form

a lasting impression of this area. While there may be a range of weather conditions along the walk, they are often not too severe, and with the right gear, you can stay dry and comfortable. Altitude shouldn't be a problem because the walk is on well-established trails and is not too high.
