Modes of Payment to Gurkha Tours
Telex Transfer (TT) is the most convenient method for us to receive payment. In some countries, it's also known as a wire transfer. It's a safe way to send money from one bank to another. We recommend that you send us US dollars, but you are free to send us any other currency. If you transfer money in a currency other than the US dollar, you may lose money due to exchange rate fluctuations. Please keep in mind that the fee your bank charges you for transferring the funds to us must be paid by you.
When you're ready to pay, we'll recommend a bank near you that can send the money to us the quickest.
Payment by Credit cards
In Nepal, Visa and Master cards are generally accepted. So they are the credit cards we favor. American Express, JCB, and other major credit cards are also accepted, however they can be inconvenient at times. When paying with a credit card, keep in mind that you must pay the bank charges (4 percent in Nepal).
Cash and Travellers Cheques
You can pay us in cash or with traveler's checks while you're in Nepal. In terms of cash, we accept US dollars, British pounds, Japanese yen, Euro, and a few other currencies that our central bank accepts.
Other modes of Payment
We accept Bank Drafts and Crossed Cheques in some situations. However, they are only allowed in exceptional circumstances.
