The Manaslu Larkya la Pass circuit trek is regarded as an adventurous trip in Nepal. With an altitude of more than 5000 meters above sea level, the Manaslu Circuit Trek brings us to one of the most remote and wild kingdoms in the Himalayas, bordering Tibet. It's regarded as dangerous and difficult to trip in the natural Himalayas above 5000 meters.

Trekking/hiking is not as easy as we normally think. Trekking in the mountains can have a risk of health and sometimes it can be fatal. Manaslu Larkya La Pass cuit trek is slightly tougher than Annapurna Circuit Trek. The routes follow the hilly trails up to the mountains. As a result we require good physical fitness and should be free from diseases. But, it does not mean, we could not succeed. The trek is even better for the novic hikers and the mountain enthuasiast. You can make it if you enjoy hiking and start working before your adventure. Each day you will hike for 6-7 hours in the highlands. If you have the habit of walking in the mountains in high altitude, you can definitely enjoy the hike. If you're new and interested to hike around the mountains, build your physical fitness, have some trainnings and develop the habit of walking at least for 2-3 hours a day.
Manaslu circuit trek is the best alternative of Everest Trek and Annapurna Trek. Manaslu trekking lies within the restricted areas. Besides it has unparallel landscapes (terrace farm, gorges, Highlands, cliffs, alpine forest). Moreover, the trek passes through Manaslu Conservation Area, Rural area trekking permit and even Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). While hiking alone in the mountains, you can feel difficulties in negavating the route. If you get lost, or if something misfortune happens in the Himalayas, the news can remain unnoticed for days or month. To avoid risk in the highlands, it is always better to hire a guide, and your travel company will definitely help you. Nepal government had made it mandatory to have at least two guides in a group. So to stroll/ hike around Manaslu region is not permited.
The best time to commence the Manaslu circuit trek and experience the peace and tranquility of the Manaslu region is in the spring season . The month from March to May falls under the spring season in the Manaslu region. The early month of March charms the magical pathway with blooming flowers and crisp exquisite weather conditions. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and hills along the trail and the tea houses are also open to serve and cater to the needs of trekkers and mountaineers. Hence, Spring has to be one of the best seasons to plan the Manaslu Circuit trek.
Autumn is the best season for a trekking expedition in the Manaslu region. After the heavy rainfall in the Monsoon season, the surrounding atmosphere is clear of all the pollution. The temperature is stable as it ranges from 8°C to 20°C for most of the part of the trek.
It will neither be too hot nor too cold during the Manaslu Circuit expedition. The scenery of natural beauty during the months of November is no less compared to October and November. The season of Autumn ends with dry and cold weather conditions in the month of November.
Hinang Gompa is situated at an altitude of 3200m. Hinang Gompa is a Buddhist monastery located on Manaslu Circuit Trek which can be visited from Lhi village. Having a great value on locals where the local kids around the area are practicing Buddhism. The main monastery has beautiful ancient wall paintings with three statues including "Maitreya", Padmasambhava and Avalokitesvara.
