Adventures are always the best way to learn about nature, surroundings, and the environment. One who travels more gets the chance to explore more. We have nothing to lose but the world to see.
Talking about exploring Annapurna Base Camp, it is a wonderful place with an amazing culture, magnificent mountain ranges, quaint Gurung villages with varieties of flora and fauna as well as diverse landscapes. The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular trekking trails in Nepal. It is easier and shorter than other high-altitude treks in Nepal. This trail provides you with a spectacular view of the Annapurna range, including Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. It also provides you with diverse terrain, wildlife, and culture.
During the day, the temperature is just fine, but sometimes at night, it falls dramatically and you need layers of warmers. Spring ( March to May ) and Autumn ( September to Mid- December ) are the best seasons to plan ABC Trek. In terms of the trial, weather conditions and visibility in these seasons are very helpful.
Solo and group trekkers must obtain an individual ACAP entry permit as ABC is located in the Annapurna Conservation Area.
The permit fee for SAARC nationals is NPR 200. While for other nationals, excluding SAARC, it is NPR 3000 only. Children under the age of 10 do not require any entry fee. The permit is only valid for a single entry and one should show it to the concerned person at the check post.
This is a moderate trek even with its various obstacles. This trek has steep and rugged trekking trials, walking over the stone stairs for almost 5-6 hrs. Despite various obstacles, you would like to be at the base camp of the 10th highest peak, Mt. Annapurna (8,091m/26,545ft). You might face difficulties and barriers on the trekking route as it is renowned, but with courage and better health, this trek is doable by any kind of trekker. The permit is neither transferrable nor refundable.
Trekking in the mountains is difficult, but with the assistance of porters and expert guides from Mountain Guide Trek and Expedition, you may reach your ideal location with the right snacks, drinks, and rest. We go through the forest following small routes made of stones. We advise tourists to travel with a guide and porter. During a trip, it might be exceedingly difficult to come across other hikers and residents. In addition to providing crucial information. The Guide takes care of all the accommodations, safety precautions, transportation, and entry/exit at all the access points. These people work really hard and make every attempt to get you and your group to your desired locations in harsh mountainous terrain.
You need to give your body sufficient time to adjust to the new environment. You need to be aware of your fitness level. Focusing on your cardio exercises and strengthening exercises is essential before the beginning of the trek. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, and take light and energy-giving foods during the trek. Preparing yourself with sufficient equipment (gear) for the trek is equally important. The required kinds of stuff are:

In addition, people live in their local community in the hills and farming is the main occupation. People revere both the natural world and the family deities. They set out on a journey, making prayers to the local deities. A variety of dances and programs are presented in the evening, often continuing into the late hours. Common among them are "Rodhi and Ghatu".
The trail starts from a small village/ small huts specially built for the trekkers. These small villages can be teahouses during your trail. The standards are basic but pretty comfortable. For an extra fee, hot water is available at most of the trails. There is a cell phone signal as far as Sinwa, and WIFI is available in every base camp for an additional fee.
Almost all the huts serve the same menu, chow mien, fried potatoes, spaghetti, momos, and the omnipresent dal bhat, which is surprisingly good and has a reasonable price. It increases slightly as you get higher. Dal Bhat is the most common option to offer in order to refill yourself and keep your energy level high during the trek.
The ABC trail covers 115km in total. It usually takes 11 to 14 days to complete, but can be adjusted to 8-9 days.
